Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet seeks an Internal Registry RN to provide safe, high-quality patient care across multiple units. The role involves floating to assigned units, applying the nursing process, and educating patients and families.

The position requires current RN licensure and certifications, with flexibility for shifts including nights. A BSN is preferred, and PRN status is noted with a 12-week assignment duration.

Formación

• Current state RN license is required.
• BLS (ARC/AHA) certification required upon hire and current.
• ACLS (ARC/AHA) certification required within 30 days and current.
• PALS (ARC/AHA) certification required within 30 days if floating to ER/OR/PACU/Day Patient.
• NRP and Basic Fetal monitoring or AWHONN within 90 days for Women’s Services float.
• TNCC within 12 months for ED float.
• BSN preferred.
• Able to float to two or more units and maintain competency.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Float RN may be assigned to two or more units based on need.
• Direct patient care within scope of practice and educate patients/families.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and document results.
