HCA Florida Citrus Hospital in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Med/Surg Float Pool (PRN). You will provide clinical expertise across Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care, delivering high-quality, efficient care with supportive teammates.

The role emphasizes patient instruction, accurate documentation, and medication administration per physician orders. Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS, and acute care experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license or compact licensure with active FL license within 60 days.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification required (6‑month grace period).
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Med/Surg, Telemetry and Progressive Care patients.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records, posting tests and results.
• Administer medications according to physician orders.
