Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or have compact licensure.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Current NIHSS certification required.
• Certifications such as CCRN, ONC, PCCN may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care of Med/Surg and Progressive Care patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including tests and exam results.
• Administer medications as per physician orders.
