Job summary

Intermountain Health's St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana, is seeking experienced RNs to join our Resource Pool. You will float across Medical-Surgical units, supporting day/evening shifts and holiday coverage while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Resource Pool RNs receive a 10% float differential and gain exposure across multiple units with potential cross-training into specialty areas in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start.
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience.
• Willingness to float across multiple units.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• BSN must be obtained within four years if not already hold.
• BSN required as of 4/27/2025; prior hires may be held to previous requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care across inpatient units.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Adapt quickly to different units, patient populations, and acuity levels.
• Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Continuously monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families to promote recovery and safe transitions of care.
• Uphold professional, ethical, and organizational standards of nursing practice.
