Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the St. Vincent Hospital Resource Pool in Billings, Montana. This Float Pool RN role involves covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays across multiple inpatient units, with a 10% float differential for versatility.

You’ll start in the Medical‑Surgical Resource Pool and may cross-train into specialty areas. Expect broad clinical exposure and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in a mission‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold current RN license in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days of start date.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required.
• BSN required; if under 12 months experience, must obtain BSN within four years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care across inpatient units.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Adapt quickly to different units, patient populations, and acuity levels.
• Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Continuously monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families to promote recovery and safe transitions of care.
