Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital seeks a Float Pool RN for ICU/PCU/ED coverage. You will perform initial assessments, document care, and deliver ICU-level care across units. Flexibility to rotate, strong English communication, and CA RN licensure are required; BLS/ACLS/PALS and NIHSS within 3 months are expected.

Minimum 2 years ICU experience and BSN preferred; CCRN encouraged. The role offers growth opportunities, competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits with UHS.

Qualifications

• Exhibits flexibility by rotating within the ICU/PCU/ED units as competent.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
• Minimum of Two (2) years ICU experience required.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• BSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS & PALs certifications (AHA) required.
• NIHSS required within 3 months of hire.
• CCRN encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial assessment and documents appropriately for patient needs and care setting.
• Performs ICU/PCU/ED standard level of care accurately.
• Rotates within ICU/PCU/ED units as needed.
