Qualifications

• Minimum of Two (2) years’ ICU experience required.
• NIHSS required within 3 months of hire.
• CCRN encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial assessment and documents appropriately for the level of care.
• Acts as team member for multiple units while assigned to one unit per shift.
• Performs ICU/PCU/ED standard level of care, including assessments for physical, psychological, and social needs.

Skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts

Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions

Education

Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program

BSN preferred

Registered Nurse with current California RN license

Tools

BLS certification

ACLS certification

PALS certification
