Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Float Pool - Critical Care RN to support ICU/PCU/ED units in Temecula, CA. The role requires current California RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and minimal ICU experience. You will rotate across units and deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years ICU experience.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• Current California RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications (AHA) required.
• NIHSS required within 3 months of hire.
• CCRN encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial assessment and documents appropriately for the level of care appropriate to the patient's clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age development level, and cultural and religious orientation in a timely manner.
• Performs ICU/PCU/ED standard level of care, completely and accurately including, but not limited to, physical assessment, pain, skin breakdown, fall risk, cognitive and social needs.
• Exhibits flexibility by rotating within the ICU/PCU/ED units as competent.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
