Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Arlington, TX. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and providing excellent patient service across multiple sites.

The position requires a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, and 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience. Travel to Arlington and surrounding areas is expected; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training program required if no work experience.
• 2+ years phlebotomy in clinical/hospital setting preferred.
• 1+ year experience assisting patients across age groups (pediatric–geriatric).
• Current or prior LabCorp experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately into systems.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs and documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when necessary.
