Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience assisting all patient age groups (pediatric to geriatric) preferred.
• Current or prior LabCorp experience preferred.
• Pass standardized color blindness test.
• Be 21 years of age or older with a clean driving record.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to sites in Austin, TX and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to various clinic sites.
