Job summary

Labcorp in Dallas, TX seeks a Float Phlebotomist to join our team across Dallas and surrounding areas. Schedule varies Mon-Fri, 7am–7pm, with rotating Saturdays and possible overtime. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens, enter data, and support billing and patient services.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma. Preferred candidates have 2+ years as a phlebotomist and Labcorp experience. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to sites are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working overtime as needed.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
