Job summary

Labcorp in Arlington, TX is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to support multiple sites between Arlington and surrounding areas. The role involves venipuncture and capillary collection for all ages, accurate data entry, and processing of specimens for testing.

Travel to additional sites and reliable transportation are required. The position includes a quarterly incentive bonus and a float incentive of $1.00/hr plus mileage.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience in clinical/hospital setting.
• 1+ years experience assisting patients from pediatric to geriatrics.
• Current or prior LabCorp experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed, reliable transportation required.
