Job summary

Labcorp in Greenville, TX is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for drug screens and other tests, and ensure accurate data entry and handling of patient information.

Responsibilities include processing specimens, maintaining logs, delivering excellent patient service, and traveling to additional sites within a 100+ mile radius as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• Experience handling patient specimens and data entry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs and provide excellent patient service.
• Travel to additional sites as needed within Greenville, TX and surrounding areas.
