Job summary

Labcorp in Southfield, MI is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team and cover locations within Southeast Michigan. This role offers exposure to multiple sites and patients, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturdays, providing valuable breadth of experience.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, maintain accurate data entry, and support billing and customer service while traveling to assigned locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
