Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking an onsite Float Pharmacist to support multiple Genoa pharmacies in the South Greater Boston area, including Boston, Quincy and more. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

You will dispense medications, educate patients on proper use, and deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and administering immunizations where permitted.

Qualifications

• Must hold a pharmacist license in Massachusetts.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become certified within 3 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license required for transportation.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners.
• Provide patients with information about medications and proper use.
• Deliver high level of customer service and patient support.
• Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy laws and requirements.
• Administer immunizations as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Perform other pharmacist duties while supporting Genoa locations in the market.
