Job summary

Genoa Healthcare is recruiting a full-time Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties related to processing prescriptions and to support Genoa locations in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.

Hours are generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with no weekends or holidays. The role emphasizes patient service, immunizations where allowed, and compliant practice to ensure reliable access to medications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current Minnesota pharmacist license.
• Certified immunizer or willing to obtain upon hire.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
