Job summary

Genoa Healthcare seeks a Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties and processes prescriptions, floating between our upstate New York pharmacies. This on-site role centers on patient care, medication information, and immunizations where allowed, with a shared emphasis on service quality.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; no nights or weekends. Salary ranges from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in New York state.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become one within 3 months of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
