Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a Float Mammography Technologist to support multiple Houston market centers. You will operate mammography x-ray equipment, ensure accurate positioning, and participate in diagnostic procedures within a patient-focused team.

This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance for qualified technologists. You will rotate across centers, maintain state licensure and professional certifications, and contribute to compassionate, excellent

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board License (TMB) is required.
• Current ARRT Mammography certification or eligible with documented clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• MQSA/FDA – 15 CEU’s every 3 years and 200 documented cases every 2 years.
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred.

Work Location: Floats between all Houston market centers

Work Hours: (Full-Time) Monday-Friday 6:30am-5:00pm, depending on center hours. (Occasional Saturdays Required)

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here is what you will need:

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

A Day in the Life of a Float Mammography Technologist:

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
  • Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
  • Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
  • Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
  • Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
  • Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
