Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a Float Mammography Technologist to join our Dallas/Fort Worth centers. This role operates x-ray equipment and performs mammography procedures with a focus on precision and patient comfort.

We offer ongoing professional development, a sign-on bonus up to $7,500, and relocation assistance for qualified technologists. You will travel between Solis centers as needed, providing high-quality breast imaging services to our patients.

Qualifications

• Texas Medical Board License (TMB)
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible for advanced exam with clinical experience
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years and 200 documented cases every 2 years
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies preferred

Responsibilities

Work Location: Float Coverage for Dallas/Fort Worth Solis Centers

Work Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday Varied Hours Based on the Center Needs (Occasional Saturdays Required)

The Float Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here is what you will need:

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

A Day in the Life of a Float Mammography Technologist:

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
  • Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
  • Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
  • Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
  • Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
  • Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;

Sign-On Bonus is applicable to current qualified Mammography Technologists (ARRT (M)). Amount offered may vary in an amount of up to $7,500 depending upon experience level and qualifications.
