Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Flight Test Engineer to join our Test and Evaluation team. You will lead system-level development testing, acceptance testing, and software qualification testing for autonomous military systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration with software, hardware, and product teams to ensure mission success. You will design and execute test plans, analyze complex test data, and coordinate with private and government partners to meet test objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or related field.
• Experience developing and executing test plans for complex systems.
• Proven experience coordinating and executing complex test events
• Experience developing metrics and dashboards
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication with diverse audiences
• Ability to engage and communicate with military and government customers
• Willingness to travel and obtain security clearance

Responsibilities

• Work on T&E test programs from start to finish and support existing tests
• Coordinate, plan, and execute test events for mission autonomy capabilities utilizing surrogate vehicles
• Design and implement test plans that challenge and verify the capabilities of autonomous systems in a variety of simulated mission profiles.
• Analyze data from tests to validate system performance and identify areas for improvement
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and product managers, to define test requirements and ensure alignment with system capabilities and mission objectives.
• Drive end-to-end test management by shaping program requirements, designing comprehensive test plans, leading execution efforts, analyzing complex data, and delivering clear, concise reports to cross-functional and program teams.
• Coordinate with private and government partners to test and evaluate systems and software and ensure test objectives are met
• Communicate effectively with government leaders, cross-functional teams, and internal company leadership
