Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Flight Test Engineer focused on software interfaces and diagnostics within its Test and Evaluation team. This role involves end-to-end testing, plan design, data analysis, and collaboration across engineers and program managers to validate autonomous systems in simulated missions.

You will coordinate test events, build metrics dashboards, and engage with military/government customers. A TS clearance and travel to test locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or a related technical field; equivalent experience acceptable.
• 1–3 years of in-depth Test & Evaluation experience, preferably with autonomous systems.
• Proven ability to develop and execute test plans for complex systems within aggressive timelines.
• Experience coordinating and executing complex test events.
• Experience developing metrics and performance dashboards.
• Proven track record of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve milestones.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences, including military/government customers.

Responsibilities

• Work on T&E test programs from start to finish and support existing test programs.
• Coordinate, plan, and execute test events for mission autonomy capabilities using surrogate vehicles.
• Design and implement test plans that challenge autonomous systems across various simulated mission profiles.
• Analyze data from tests to validate performance and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and product teams to define test requirements and align with objectives.
• Drive end-to-end test management: requirements, plans, execution, data analysis, and reporting.
• Coordinate with private and government partners to test and evaluate systems and software.
