Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Development Test Engineer to join the Air Dominance & Strike team in Costa Mesa, CA. You will work closely with design engineers to shape how air vehicle systems fly, solving hardware anomalies and optimizing performance while upholding safety standards.

You will lead test campaigns, design test setups, analyze data, and fabricate equipment as needed. The role requires hands-on testing, strong engineering fundamentals, and eligibility for US security clearance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in a related engineering field.
• Strong competence with engineering first principles.
• BS, MS or PhD in an engineering discipline.
• Must be eligible to obtain/maintain US Security Clearance.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Execute structural, performance, and environmental development testing on air vehicles, missiles and launch systems.
• Lead test campaigns including planning, setup, execution, data analysis, and equipment design/fabrication.
• Generate work instructions for technicians in fabrication and integration of test articles.
• Operate data acquisition and control systems and related test hardware.
