Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense tech leader, seeks a Flight Test Engineer focused on software interface and diagnostics to advance our autonomous capabilities. You will drive test programs from planning through execution, coordinating with engineers and program teams to ensure mission success and system reliability.

You will analyze test data, develop metrics, and deliver clear reports to stakeholders, while engaging with government partners and leadership to align objectives and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of Test & Evaluation experience, preferably with autonomous systems.
• Ability to develop and execute test plans for complex systems on aggressive timelines.

Responsibilities

• Work on T&E test programs from start to finish and support existing test programs.
• Coordinate, plan, and execute test events for mission autonomy using surrogate vehicles.
• Design and implement test plans that challenge autonomous systems across simulated missions.
• Analyze data from tests to validate system performance and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with software/hardware engineers and product managers to define test requirements.
• Lead end-to-end test management, crafting requirements, plans, execution, and reports.
• Coordinate with private and government partners to test systems and software, ensuring objectives are met.
• Communicate effectively with government leaders and cross-functional teams.
