Job summary

Rocket Lab in Littleton, Colorado, is seeking a Flight Software Intern to design and test flight software and enhance testing against emulated hardware. You will work with mentors, join a fast-paced team, and participate in regular progress updates.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a BS/MS/PhD in CS/CE/SE, with GPA 3.0+, and at least 3 months of applied engineering experience. On-site, 12 consecutive weeks starting early 2027, with relocation stipend possible.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s, master's or doctorate degree program in Computer science, computer engineering, or software engineering, with at least one semester remaining post internship.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge to design and test flight software alongside mentors.
• Collaborate with a fast-paced team to solve real challenges.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to track progress.
