Job summary

Rocket Lab USA invites a Flight Software Intern to support the MAX Flight Software team in Littleton, Colorado. You will contribute to designing and testing flight software, with opportunities to test against emulated hardware and learn in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates join with a passion for aerospace, can collaborate across teams, and will work full-time on-site for a 12+ week period beginning January–March 2027. Competitive CO-based pay and relocation stipend may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree program in Computer science, computer engineering, or software engineering,electrical engineeringor related field and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with your mentor and other team members to apply knowledge and grow technically and professionally
• Work with a fast-paced group to apply engineering concepts to real challenges
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors to facilitate success and learning
• Participate in tech talks and network with interns and employees through events
