Job summary

Rendezvous Robotics in Golden, Colorado, is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for Spring 2027. You will write and test flight software for our onboard compute platform, build ground station tooling, and contribute to communication protocols as the assembly changes shape.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
Understanding of basic networking and distributed systems concepts.
Experience with embedded Linux or bare-metal firmware is a plus.

Responsibilities

Write and test flight software for our onboard compute platform.
Build tools for ground station operations, including telemetry visualization and command sequencing.
Develop communication protocols for dynamically changing assemblies.
Help build simulation environments to test logic before hardware integration.
Debug issues spanning software and hardware with the electrical team.
