Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Flight Paramedic to perform advanced life support on airborne missions. Starting at an hourly rate with GEO modification, the role emphasizes timely electronic charting, rigorous safety protocols, and ongoing competency through training.

Qualifications include a minimum of 3 years in 911/critical care, EMT-P licensure, and FP-C within 24 months of hire, plus required certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP).

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area required.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsabilités

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for every dispatched flight within the allotted time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact to handoff, with thorough documentation.
• Maintain competency via ongoing labs and clinical experiences.
• Keep licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and procedures documentation up to date in the Employee Education Manual.
• Knowledgeable in equipment use and routine maintenance for emergency program needs.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member and participate in pre/post mission briefings and checklists.
• Assist with liftoff pre-mission checks and pilot-related tasks when needed.
• Adhere to safety standards to ensure safety of self, crew, patient and equipment.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed.
• Fill open or vacant shifts in the assigned area as directed by the Regional Director.
