Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a skilled software engineer to contribute to Flight 2 Flight Management Solutions in military avionics. You will design, develop, and test software features for FMS integrated in helicopters and aircraft, collaborating with a team of systems and software engineers.

You will deepen Systems Engineering and Flight Management expertise while applying leadership, communication, and proactive teamwork to deliver reliable, on-time products.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience with C, C++, DOORS, ADA, and/or Python.
• 2+ years of experience in a Systems role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems in military helicopters and planes.
• Grow knowledge of Systems Engineering and Flight Management Systems.
• Integrate leadership, communication, and coordination into a fast-paced environment delivering quality, timely products.
