Job summary

Air Methods is seeking a Denver-based Company Instructor to oversee safety and qualification training for helicopter and fixed-wing pilots undergoing evaluation. The role includes classroom, aircraft, and simulator flight checks, with a focus on maintaining adherence to the General Operations Manual.

The position covers development of training schedules, ground and flight instruction, and ensuring standardized procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to implement training programs (initial and recurrent training).
• Ability to work in a collaborative manner with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate compliance including safety, flight operations, and procedures per the General Operations Manual.
• Conduct initial and recurrent training (ground and flight).
• Perform transitions, ROC training (ground and flight).
• Correct and report out-of-compliance issues; coordinate with ACP/Regional aviation or Maintenance Director as needed.
• Assist in developing and implementing flight and ground training schedules.
