Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a seasoned continuous-improvement leader to drive Lean initiatives in the AR Transformation Office. You will foster innovation, deploy standard work, and coach teams across the AR value stream using FLIGHT DECK and Lean tools.

The role requires onsite work in Niskayuna, US citizenship, and a track record of delivering measurable improvements. You will design data processes for KPIs, lead Kaizen events, train teams, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders while advancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 5 years of experience in operations, program management, and/or quality management or a high school diploma with 10 years of related experience.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Niskayuna, NY
• US citizenship required
• Experience leading Lean events or process improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Support a culture of continuous improvement and simplicity across AR.
• Collaborate with extended teams to improve operating cadences through tool deployment and coaching.
• Drive deployment of standard work, 5S, and lean initiatives across AR.
• Develop, maintain, and track the health of the AR value stream in CI processes.
• Design and implement data management for KPIs within the Transformation Office.
• Present success stories and challenges associated with Kaizen activity.
• Analyze and summarize complex data to support Kaizen activities using Excel.
• Deploy lean solutions to reduce manual intervention and improve processes.
• Partner with Aerospace Engineering on long-term process improvement initiatives.
• Lead Kaizen activities across AR and coordinate with process improvement leaders
