Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a FLIGHT DECK Leader at the Lynn Component Manufacturing facility to champion lean transformation and educate teams on Lean tools. The role focuses on standardizing work, daily management, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations in LP1.

You will coach, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams to adopt Lean practices, drive kaizen events, and deliver measurable performance improvements in a high-mix, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or 4+ years Lean experience in a global matrix org.
• 5+ years applying Lean in a global matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with DES and Lynn Manufacturing Ops leaders to solve problems based on feedback.
• Implement and coach Daily Management, including daily meetings and genba walks.
• Train and coach teams on visual management, flow lines, 5S, standardized work, and leader standard work.
• Build cross-functional relationships to drive change management for improvements.
• Lead kaizen events to deliver measurable improvements.
• Develop and sustain a linked operating system driving KPI transformation and continuous improvement.
