Job summary

GE Aerospace in the United States is seeking a Senior FLIGHT DECK Leader – Transformation to apply lean principles and drive value-stream conversion across target lines, collaborating with operators and front-line leaders on Genba. You will lead Kaizen events, develop standard work, and deploy 5S, TPM, SMED as needed, building site capability to sustain gains.

This hands-on, player-coach role requires strong problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or manufacturing engineering.
• 5+ years leading lean conversion with measurable results (value stream mapping, Kaizen Events, standard work, flow & pull).

Responsibilities

• Lead lean conversion at target sites and deploy FLIGHT DECK tools.
• Work hands-on at Genba with operators and front-line leaders to convert target lines.
• Collaborate with site leadership to set objectives, SQDC targets and deploy lean standards.
• Lead a small team of practitioners on conversion assignments and develop capability.
• Facilitate Kaizen Events from prep through sustainment and document roadmaps.
• Develop and sustain standard work for manufacturing, assembly and test operations.
