Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Senior Industrial Engineering Leader for the FLIGHT DECK Industrial Engineering Group to drive standard work, layout planning, capacity utilization and flow optimization across manufacturing. Up to 60% travel will be required, partnering with operations and IE leaders.

Candidates should have 10+ years in lean transformations, a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering (Master’s preferred), and 3+ years of leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred)
• Minimum of 10+ years in lean transformations or related manufacturing leadership
• 3+ years of leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply Industrial Engineering methods and Lean tools
• Lead capacity utilization improvement projects with cross‑functional teams
• Improve workflow by analyzing process flow charts and workstation layouts
• Create standard work and visual management for material flow
• Share and communicate best practices across the manufacturing network
• Lead functional teams or projects with minimal resources and risk
• Demonstrate expertise in SMED, time studies, OEE calculations and problem solving
