Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience facilitating lean transformations in manufacturing and supply chain
• Willing to travel up to 60% of the time
• 10+ years experience facilitating lean transformations or manufacturing/machining operations
• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering
• 3+ years of leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced competency in Industrial Engineering Methods and Lean tools and coach associates in Lean (FLIGHT DECK) principles
• Partner, develop and execute Capacity Utilization process with Operations, FLIGHT DECK and IE Leaders
• Improve workflow by studying process flow charts and developing new procedures
• Layout and workstation planning
• Designing, developing, and deploying manufacturing systems with emphasis on machining lines and balancing capacity
• Improve labor and machine utilization by studying methods, layout, and equipment modifications
• Create Standard Work and implement visual management for material flow and process optimization
• Share and communicate advanced industrial engineering process flows and work streams as Best Practice Standards across the network
• Use Lean Process Improvement methodologies to address complex processes and communicate benefits/risk
• Lead functional teams or projects with minimal resources and risk
