Air Methods in Denver is seeking an IFR RW Check Airman to provide oversight, safety and qualification for helicopter and fixed-wing pilots during evaluation. The role includes classroom, aircraft, or simulator training and flight checks.

You will evaluate operations, conduct initial and recurrent training, and assist in developing training schedules and pilot records in accordance with FARs and policies. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years related experience and/or training.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ATP rating in aircraft category preferred.
• Commercial/Instrument rating required.
• Must meet total flight hour requirements.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate operational compliance including safety, flight operations, maintenance operations, and procedures per General Operations Manual.
• Initial and recurrent training (ground and flight).
• Transition, differences and ROC ground and flight training.
• Correct and report out-of-compliance issues, coordinate with ACP/Regional Aviation or Maintenance Director as needed.
• Assist in development and implementation of flight and ground training schedules.
