Air Methods seeks an experienced RW IFR Check Airman to oversee training, safety and qualification for helicopter and/or fixed-wing pilots during evaluation. Training and flight checks occur in classrooms, aircraft, or flight simulators.

Responsibilities include ground and flight training, ROC checks, and maintaining pilot records per FARs. Role requires readiness for travel and strong reporting skills. DOT/FAA compliant testing may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Commercial/Instrument rating required; ATP preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate safety, flight ops, maintenance, and procedures per General Operations Manual.
• Conduct initial and recurrent ground and flight training.
• Coordinate training schedules and ensure adherence to standardized procedures.
