Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Planner to support the New Glenn rocket assembly processes at Space Coast, FL. You will lead the creation of manufacturing bills of materials, work orders, and build plans while ensuring quality and on-time delivery across complex avionics and harness production.

You will mentor teammates, drive process improvements, and coordinate with suppliers to meet program milestones in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• HS/GED/Equiv required.
• Hardware manufacturing experience with structures, fluid systems, mechanical systems, or avionics.
• Develop manufacturing work instructions to clearly define fabrication, assembly, test, integration, and refurbishment.
• Sound understanding of Electrical Theory and Avionics schematics; interest to learn Cable Harness fabrication.
• Willingness to work the B shift and operate with limited supervision.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the manufacturing of complex avionics devices and harnesses, translating engineering intent into fly-ready hardware.
• Maintain cognizance of ~4000 distinct parts across manufacturing stages and support documentation pedigree.
• Develop manufacturing plans, BOMs, work instructions, and tooling lists for delivery commitments.
