Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Manufacturing Planner to support New Glenn Structures Manufacturing. You will develop and sustain manufacturing plans, BOMs, and work instructions, while optimizing build sequences and schedules.

This role emphasizes quality, cost reduction, and continuous improvement in a high-velocity aerospace environment. You will apply GD&T knowledge and CAD skills to document as-built configurations and collaborate across engineering and production teams to meet delivery commitments and

Qualifications

• Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (Scheduling, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
• Understanding of Manufacturing Engineering processes and procedures, including planning systems
• Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures.
• Experience in Aerospace or industrial manufacturing
• 5+ years of experience developing detailed plans and schedules
• Understanding of GD&T and mechanical design/manufacturing fundamentals
• Proficiency with CAD tools and ability to review drawings for buildability

Responsibilities

• Provides shipside support.
• Develops and maintains manufacturing plans, BOMs, work instructions, and illustrations to define as-built configurations of major production hardware.
• Develops tooling requirements and initiates tooling orders.
• Updates work orders and sequencing events to meet delivery commitments.
• Supports NC Dispositioning.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams and trains junior teammates as needed.
