Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks a skilled Manufacturing Planner III to lead the creation and maintenance of manufacturing plans and work instructions for the New Glenn program. You will manage BOMs, tooling, and supplier data, ensuring conformance to engineering requirements.

Shipside support and cross-functional collaboration are core aspects of this role. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in manufacturing planning, strong PM and Lean Six Sigma knowledge, and proficiency with P6 or similar tools.

Qualifications

• HS/GED or equivalent; Associate degree or trade school in related discipline helpful.
• 7+ years of manufacturing planner or production experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of Project Management, Lean Six Sigma or lean methods.
• Intermediate experience with P6 or other GANTT-style project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and maintenance of manufacturing plans, BOMs, work instructions, and illustrations to define as-built configuration.
• Reviews supplier data to ensure manufacturing-related requirements are met.
• Develops tooling requirements and initiates tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering needs.
• Provides shipside support and oversight for outplant processing and data recording.
