Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a Level 2 IT Support Technician to deliver remote and on-site technical support across a diverse client base in Tennessee. You will troubleshoot networks, servers, and IT infrastructure with regular travel to client sites in Memphis and Jackson as needed.

Responsibilities include incident management, RMM monitoring, backup/disaster recovery, and clear client communication.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on IT support experience including networks, servers, and endpoints.
Experience with Windows Server environments and AD; familiarity with virtualization and cloud concepts.

Responsibilities

Remote & On-Site IT Support: Level 2 troubleshooting for client environments, including network, server, and workstation issues.
Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose connectivity, routing, DNS/DHCP issues.
Server Management: Assist in management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux servers.
Workstation Support: Resolve hardware, software, and OS issues on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Incident Management: Manage tickets in service platforms and ensure timely resolutions.
RMM: Use RMM tools to monitor client systems for updates, security, and health.
Backup & Disaster Recovery: Ensure data backups and assist with recovery tasks.
Client Communication: Provide updates and timelines to clients.
On-Site Visits: Travel to Memphis and Jackson, TN for on-site support.
