Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Special Care Aide (SCA) in Livingston, TX to join our home care team on a PRN, flexible schedule basis. You will be the first contact for new clients, delivering compassionate personal care and coordinating with branch staff to ensure a smooth Start of Care.

You will travel between clients, provide essential care activities, and contribute to a positive home-care experience, with growth opportunities within Personal Care Services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, as required by state regulations.
• Minimum six months of caring for elderly or disabled individuals.
• HHA/PCA/CNA or similar certification where required.
• Comfort using mobile devices and electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supporting new client admissions and Start of Care visits.
• Providing personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Preparing meals and assisting with daily living activities.
• Performing housekeeping and household support.
• Traveling throughout the assigned service area to support clients.
• Maintaining accurate visit records and documentation.
