Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Special Care Aide (SCA) in Springfield, MO for a PRN, flexible schedule role. You will be the first face for new clients and a critical link between clients and the branch team, coordinating care and communications in the home setting.

You will gain experience across multiple clients and services, with opportunities for leadership growth. The role emphasizes travel, compassionate care, and mission-driven teamwork within the Personal Care Services group.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support new client admissions and Start of Care visits.
• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Prepare meals and assist with daily living activities.
• Perform housekeeping and household support.
• Assist with errands and transportation when appropriate.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and visit records.
• Provide coverage for open shifts, call-offs, and urgent staffing needs.
• Travel throughout the assigned service area to support clients.
