Job summary

Elara Caring is hiring a Special Care Aide (SCA) PRN for flexible scheduling to support in-home care. You will be the first contact for new clients, help with personal care, meals, and daily living activities, and coordinate with the branch team to ensure a smooth start of care.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED, at least 6 months of related caregiver experience, and applicable certifications where state regulations require.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required where state regulations apply.
• Minimum six months of experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals.
• Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, CNA, MA, or similar certification where required.
• Basic technology skills and comfort using mobile devices and electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Prepare meals and assist with daily living activities.
• Provide light housekeeping and transportation support when needed.
• Document visits and communicate changes to the branch team.
• Travel throughout service area to support clients and coverage for open shifts.
