Job summary

PAM Health in Fargo, ND is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our medical-surgical unit. You will deliver and supervise patient care using the nursing process, coordinate discharge planning, and educate patients and families for post-hospital needs.

ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses, and BLS is mandatory; current RN license (state or compact) is required. One year of inpatient med-surg experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; ACLS required for Charge Nurses.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospital needs.
• Provide interdisciplinary planning and collaboration for patient care.
• Perform duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities when ACLS-qualified.
