Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and supervise nursing care on the medical-surgical unit, following the nursing process and coordinating with the care team. The role includes patient and family teaching for post-hospital care and discharge planning.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, BLS, and ACLS (ACLS for Charge Nurses may be required). Experience in inpatient settings is preferred, and flexible scheduling is offered.

Qualifications

• Inpatient medical-surgical care experience preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment, ACLS for Charge Nurses is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise nursing care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families for post-hospital care and community resources; may serve as Charge Nurse as needed.
