Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fargo is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients in the nursing unit. You will coordinate patient care, participate in discharge planning, and engage in family teaching for post-hospitalization while collaborating with the nursing leadership.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification with at least one year of inpatient medical-surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or a compact licensure if the state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
• May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
