Job summary

EP!C is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide person-centered support in a Host Home setting for individuals with I/DD in Illinois. Flexible, open schedules including evenings and weekends, with a valid driver's license and vehicle required.

You will assist with daily living, transportation, documentation, safety, and community activities, following the agency mission and state regulations. CPR/First Aid and background checks are required; candidates must be 18+ with a HS diploma or

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and access to automobile
• Experience with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred
• Must pass criminal background check and have CPR/First Aid training

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centered support to individuals with I/DD.
• Assist with daily living activities in Host Home or Supported Living settings.
• Provide transportation using agency vehicle or own vehicle as needed.
• Maintain documentation as required (ISP, safety, health, and program records).
• Promote independence and involve individuals in community activities.
