Job summary

EP!C is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals in group home settings in Peoria, IL. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, participating in leisure and educational activities, and providing transportation when needed.

The DSP will follow person-centered plans, ensure safety and rights, and maintain documentation, with a schedule that may include every other weekend and multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of CPR, First Aid, Infection Control, CPI training.
• Must obtain/maintain DSP training and have a valid driver’s license with automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals in group home settings.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Engage in meaningful activities to develop social, life, and sensory skills.
• Provide transportation using EP!C vehicle when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of program delivery and activities.
