Job summary

Caritas Family Solutions is seeking a PRN Direct Support Professional to provide daily living support to individuals with developmental disabilities in Illinois. You will help residents with living activities, meals, medications, and community engagement while building supportive relationships.

The role is nonexempt and hourly, with evening and weekend shifts available. Starting compensation varies by shift, and you can choose a schedule each month to meet monthly minimums.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be a certified DSP by Illinois DHS.
• Experience in residential care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including cooking, cleaning, and personal development.
• Monitor and document medication needs and report health issues.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and families, maintaining positive relationships.
• Assist residents with monetary purchases/exchanges.
• Support residents in community activities and accessing resources to develop natural supports.
