Job summary

EP!C is seeking dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide person-centered support to individuals with I/DD in Host Home, Supported Living, and Apartment settings. This role emphasizes relief coverage, daily living assistance, and community participation, with driving as an essential function and potential use of EP!C vehicles.

Open availability is required, as shifts vary and schedules are provided in advance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, compassionate, and person-centered support to individuals with I/DD.
• Support individuals in Host Home, Supported Living, and Apartment settings.
• Provide relief coverage when guardians are away.
• Supervise and support individuals during shifts in home and community.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
• Promote independence through hands-on teaching of life skills.
